Hello

Hello, I’m Amanda, a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a proud veteran. I earned my degree in Advanced Clinical Social Work from Saint Leo University in sunny Florida. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in diverse mental health settings, including public mental health, healthcare systems, and veteran services. I’ve been honored to support individuals facing a wide range of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, panic disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.

My Story

As someone who has served, I have a heartfelt understanding of the unique experiences faced by military service members, their families, and first responders. I am especially passionate about walking alongside veterans, their spouses, and first responders on their mental health journeys.

In my practice, I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, all tailored to meet your unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. My style is warm, collaborative, and focused on empowering you to reclaim your life and move forward with strength and resilience.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me enjoying time with my family and friends. I love being outdoors—whether I’m fishing, surfing, or simply kicking back with a cup of coffee on the porch. Nature keeps me grounded, and I truly believe in the power of balance and connection, both inside and outside the therapy room.
