Hello

My practice is a place where you can take a time out. Take a break from the demands, the roles and the challenges of living, so you can reconnect with yourself and explore on your own terms.

My Practice

My work is a collaboration with my clients to bring balance back into their lives. We strive to take the focus away from persistent thoughts about food and weight and exercise and instead focusing on the true self, separate from the imbalanced thoughts & behaviors related to disordered eating.

I am interested in getting to know you and working with you to help you resolve problems and remove obstacles that keep you from doing those things you want to do in your life. I have experience treating individuals who have relationship concerns, high stress, depression, anxiety, and other client concerns including, gay and lesbian issues.

I specialize in counseling persons who struggle with disordered eating and body image concerns. This includes the entire spectrum of problems related to food and weight (i.e. overeating, body image, self-esteem, compulsive eating, restricting, bingeing, purging, and over-exercising).

Additionally, I work with female athletes & wellness enthusiasts with regards to life balance, eating & body image concerns, training, & performance. I use an eclectic approach chosen to suit each client’s individual needs. These approaches are based on expertise in Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and client centered approaches.

In my spare time I like to do things outside with my family and friends. I especially enjoy stand-up paddle boarding, hiking, and am doing my best to learn how to surf.
